You Must be ever heard about fashionista in some kind of way. When i was think about fashionista, my mind goes to the movie ” Confession of sophaholic”. Its not just a funny movie, but it have a main character that was unique too. This movie tells about a girl who really get obsessed with fashion. Nice bag, clothes, shoes and a scarf really makes her crazy about. Unfortunately, her kind of habit turned her in to someone with big debt and involves her in to a financial disasters.
The term of fashionista that i’m gonna talk about is really fitted to this movie’s main character. Fashionista it self can be described as someone who really follows the fashion trends or someone who really get deep involved with fashion thing such fashion or garment industry. In extreme way, fashionista can be labeled to those who really get obsessed with any kind of fashion trends and it related with someone who well-dressed.
The word of fashionista appears in the early 1990s, and it become popular in late 1990s. Characteristic of fashionista includes :
- Always follows the latest fashion trends
- Well-knowledge about the latest fashion trends
- Always make sure that the way they dressed, the way they look as fit as trend appears. Being a stylist is a must.
- The latest and the new-up coming wardrobe, make over, accessories are really their concerns.
- Always keeping up with the latest fashion and trends news.
- Consumers or designers who have great impact on trend and fashion industry.
Some people says that being a fashionista become part of women identities. Being confidence for what they were wearing plays an important role in women’s today values. Its not a bad thing for being someone who really put their attention on the way their look and appearance. Feel great with the nicest clothes, bags and soon is surely a good thing for you. But what you should think more is that every choices and action has it own cost. And one of the cost surely are amount of bills he..he..:). Life is about choices right..?.
